Hi there! I’m Dami, the host of The Adulting Together Podcast. If you grew up with me, you probably know me as Adeola, I’m one and the same person I promise lol. If you’re here, chances are you’re trying to figure out this thing called “adulting” just like me—and let’s be real, it’s a wild ride!
A little about me: I’ve been writing for about 10yrs now, pouring my heart out through poetry, think pieces, and inspirational posts. Back then, I created “Conversehouse” on WordPress, a space for writers to connect and share ideas (big shout out to the OGs). Writing has always been my thing, it’s how I make sense of the world, one word at a time.
I grew up in Nigeria, moved to the U.S. in 2017, lived mostly in Texas, then Oklahoma and now I’m in Minnesota where I’m navigating life as a registered nurse, learning to love the snow (kind of).
Faith is the heartbeat of my life. As a Christian, my belief in Jesus shapes everything I do—from how I care for others to the vision behind this podcast. I believe in personal growth and am big on learning, reading, and finding ways to thrive.
When I’m not podcasting or working, you’ll find me working out, curled up with a book, singing (loudly), dancing (badly but who cares), or catching up on sleep (my secret superpower). My mission? To build a community where young adults like us can grow, thrive, and tackle life together—faith, relationships, finances, and everything in between.
